One of the scent notes in Purple Bronze is musk, referred to as “mósusz” in old Hungarian literature, a term derived from the Latin name of the living creature. Musk originally comes from a particularly aromatic secretion from the prostate of the male musk deer (Moschus moschiferus), collected in what’s called a musk pod, and is believed to play a role in mate selection. As SUPERZ strives to use cruelty-free ingredients, the musk in our products is not animal-derived but rather built from plant-based molecules, known as "vegan musk." Its scent is sweet, clean, and layered with subtle floral and leather undertones. The scent of musk is challenging to describe, as it defies classification.
